Make a Difference
This dual-modality job performs both Mammography breast and bone density imaging exams but also Ultrasound exams to create the images needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring
- Receive, relay and document all verbal, written and electronic orders in the patient’s medical record
- Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices
- Associate’s degree in Radiology or completion of certification program in Radiography or Ultrasound
- Current ARDMS (OB or AB or RVT) Certification OR ARRT(RT)(S) or ARRT(RT)(VS) Registered OR Current CCI (RVS) Registered
- Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry
- If not registered, Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligible. ARRT(R) registry and Radiologic Technologist License by the State of Indiana be obtained within six months)
- Certified Mammography (M)(ARRT) required within one year of hire
